Our first edition will be all about indie, punk and shoegaze with poppy hooks, punky basslines and raw guitars. We're kicking things off with Mood Bored on December 20th! Mood Bored is an exciting indie-rock trio and the perfect mainact for our first Live in de Loods: an existential crisis that feels like a summer breeze. Support from Baaf, Sea Foam Grey and Ringo Starrbucks!

LIVE IN DE LOODS | Mood Bored

De KerstSwing 2024 wordt weer bepaald geen stille nacht vol met muziek en dans! We hebben wederom drie fantastische DJ’s die je de hele avond een muzikaal kerstdiner serveren!

Het voorgerecht wordt bereid door Swie Tio, popjournalist bij o.a. OOR en Lowlands. Voorheen programmeur en DJ. Niet alleen in het LVC maar ook in o.a. Melkweg, Odeon en RoXY. Later had hij DJ-residenties in Paard, Paradiso en Nighttown. Zo nu en dan nog actief op bruiloften en partijen. En hij is van deze partij!

Daarna de Kerstman van het jaar 2023! Wie kent hem niet? Kosmo3000 is immers al 30 jaar DJ. Hij draaide in de onvolprezen Klikspaan en later veel in Hotel de Ville. Ook is hij bekend van de eerste 3 AcidHouse feesten in het LVC en gaf daar ooit een dj-mixcursus. Tegenwoordig organiseert hij de popquiz in café het Keizertje. Ronald is een grote muziekkenner van classic house- daytime disco en new wave dus van alle markten thuis.

Als kers op de taart sluit DJ Flo de avond af met een muzikale reis door de beste hits van toen en nu. Flo was DJ voor het LVC in de 90'er jaren, bekend als DJ voor Werfpop, in het Praethuys, de Twee Spieghels en meester van de silent disco! Verwacht een perfecte mix van rock, pop en new wave.

Wibar invites Benwal (SOLD OUT)

The Last Rolling Beats of 2024 is just around the corner bringing you Dimitri Kneppers, Remy Unger, Gestalt Effect and Ængelina. If you joined us last year, you know this will be another unforgettable night.


Dimitri, is a regular in our annual lineup, because he consistently brings amazing climaxes in his sets with techno soundscapes that can't be captured by the name of a genre. You will feel that this year marks his 40th DJ anniversary from your toes to your head.


Last year's performance by Remy Unger and Gestalt Effect was something else. The dancefloor was pumping to the last beat. This year, they’re taking it up a notch, immersing you in their deep, hypnotic grooving techno selected from the '90s to the present.
Not to be missed are Ængelina's opening sets. As they are a true delight and a perfect start to the night we'd like to have 1 more of those please! She'll have you in the groove by the time Dimitri takes over. So... eat well and be on time. Dimitri will be on at midnight!


Area 2 will complete the party with 2 DJs we'd like you to meet. Joos and No Consent have sent us promising mixtapes for a refreshing sound in the upstairs room of the Wibar

Introducing the newest Kendama event in Leiden!

The European Kendama Championship, or EKC, is back with a new event and a brand new format. The event will feature the highest level of kendama competition in Europe, but also a brand new Kendama Game Market which will be open to players of all levels. Even people who have never touched a kendama before!

The main competition will be Freestyle, which will feature players from countries worldwide. The market will be open for a few hours and feature a multitude of games and prizes. You will be able to discover kendama for the first time or test your skill.

In the evening we'll be enjoying a home cooked meal at the Wibar curtosy of local legend and Soepgoed head chef Max! He'll be serving us a multitude of courses. This will culminate in a video premiere announcing the release of a very special kendama. You can't miss this!!

This time Thoms Traxx, Strave, TM and ISA SOFI will be providing the soundtrack to another hot and steamy night. Moved by curiosity and vigour, Thoms Traxx is an ever-evolving force that can’t be missed out on. Catch him alongside Laboratorium-resident ISA SOFI and the Amsterdam-based Strave and TM.
